Sips By Customer Review
Overall Rating
I've been a Sips by subscriber for over a year now and have discovered so many new teas I never even knew existed. I set my profile to include only or mostly loose leaf teas. Each month, I can go in and rate each one and I've actually noticed a difference over time in the teas I get. They also take into account certain things you don't want (I hate stevia, for example, and I've never received a tea with stevia). Over the holidays, I gifted Sips by to a friend and there were a few system issues with gifting I think (she wasn't able to activate the code the first time), but customer service was helpful and got it resolved. The system issues seem to have been resolved since, because I recently gifted Sips by to my mom for Mother's Day and there were no issues at all. I also love Sips by's curated non-subscription boxes - I bought a Sleep Tea Box because I have trouble sleeping and the teas worked wonders. Definitely recommend!

It's easy to cancel your subscription at any time. You just go to your account management page (sipsby.com/tools/checkout/api/manage/subscription/app) and then "cancel subscription". You can also "skip" months in advance if you know you'll be away those months.

Each month, I receive at least enough tea to make 15 cups (which comes out to $1/cup) and I think this is a good value based on the personalized service they provide and the fact that I could get a cup of tea for $3-5 dollars at a restaurant or cafe. Being able to try a little of each tea is more valuable for me than purchasing a whole box of one type from different brands, paying more shipping, and then risking not liking that tea and having it go to waste.
